licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, the Electrical
Wiring Regulations 1976, and with all regulations made in
amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as
they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence. -
The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a),
(b), (d), (e), and (f) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply
Regulations 1976. -
This temporary licence, issued under section 20A of the
Electricity Act 1968 shall be in force for a period beginning on the
1st day of April 1983 and ending with the 31st day of March 1985
or the earlier issue of a licence under section 20 of the Electricity
Act 1968.
SCHEDULE
All that area as described in the Gazette of 1961, at page 536 and
as shown on the plan marked NZE 557, deposited in the office of
the Electricity Division of the Ministry of Energy at Wellington.

Lyttelton Harbour Board Electricity Supply Temporary Licence
1983
- Hugh Campbell Templeton, a member of the Executive Council
acting for and on behalf of William Francis Birch, Minister of Energy,
and acting pursuant to section 20A of the Electricity Act 1968, hereby
issue a temporary licence to Lyttelton Harbour Board to supply
electricity, and to lay, construct, put up, place and use all electric
lines and works which may from time to time be required for the
distribution of electricity within the area specified in the Schedule
hereto.
This licence is issued subject to the following conditions:
CONDITIONS

This licence may be cited as the Lyttelton Harbour Board
Electricity Supply Temporary Licence 1983. -
The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the
Electrical Supply Regulations 1976 and the Electrical Wiring
Regulations 1976 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part
of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with
the provisions of this licence. -
The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the
licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, the Electrical
Wiring Regulations 1976, and with all regulations made in
amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as

Invercargill City Council Electricity Supply Temporary Licence

Regulations 1976. The voltage of the series street-lighting system
shall not exceed 3300 volts. -
The lines described in Gazette, 1960, at page 1878, paragraph
2 in the Second Schedule shall be used by the licensee for street-
lighting purposes only. -
This temporary licence, issued under section 20A of the
Electricity Act 1968 shall be in force for a period beginning on the
1st day of April 1983 and ending with the 31st day of March 1985
or the earlier issue of a licence under section 20 of the Electricity
Act 1968.
SCHEDULE
All those lines for the transmission and supply of electricity and
all that area as described in the Gazette of 1960 at page 1878 and
as shown on the plan marked NZE 553, deposited in the office of
the Electricity Division of the Ministry of Energy at Wellington.

The Nelson Polytechnic Notice 1983
PURSUANT to section 69 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister
of Education hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- (1) This notice may be cited as the Nelson Polytechnic Notice
(2) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication
in the Gazette.
-
There shall be a board of governors, to be known as the Council
of the Nelson Polytechnic, which shall control the Nelson
Polytechnic. -
The Council of the Nelson Polytechnic shall be constituted as
follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Nelson Secondary Schools
Council, who shall be a member of that Council or a mem-
ber of the board of governors of a school under that
Council.
(b) One member being a member of the Nelson Branch of the
New Zealand Society of Accountants appointed by that
branch.
(c) One member being a registered engineer and a member of the
Nelson/Marlborough Branch of the Institution of Profes-
sional Engineers New Zealand (Incorporated) appointed
by that branch.
(d) One member appointed by the Nelson Branch of the New
Zealand Master Builders Association Incorporated.
(e) One member appointed by the New Zealand Retail Motor
Trade Association, Nelson Branch.
(f) One member appointed by the Nelson Chamber of Commerce.
(g) One member elected by the Association of Employers in local
industries situated in the province of Nelson.
(h) Two members elected by the Association of Employees in local
industries situated in the province of Nelson.
(i) One member who shall be the Principal of the Nelson Poly-
technic and who shall be a permanent appointment to the
Council.
(j) One member who shall represent the staff of the Nelson Poly-
technic, and who shall be elected by the full-time teachers
