PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for road, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for local purpose reserve (road) and the land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the purpose of public recreation, and

Pursuant to section 288 (3)(a) of the Local Government Act 1974, the land described in the Second Schedule and Third

Schedules shall be held as public reserves, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and further declares that the land described in the said First, Second, and Third Schedules shall vest in The Tauranga City Council on the 30th day of March 1983.
