Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (esplanade) reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Otorohanga District and Waipa County Councils at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Appointment of the Minister of Internal Affairs to Control and Manage a Reserve and Declaration that the Said Reserve Shall be Subject to the Provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Minister of Internal Affairs to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a Government purpose (wildlife management) reserve, and further, declares that the said reserve shall be subject to the provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953.

Reservation of Land and Naming of Reserve

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, and further, pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Onoke Scenic Reserve.
