Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a Marae and meeting place for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ngati Motai Tribe.

Notice of Amendment to a Declaration Affecting Land Acquired for a Government Work (Nelson Glenhope Railway) and Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981 and sections 10 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares the declaration dated the 10th day of December 1980 and published in New Zealand Gazette, 18 December 1980, No. 146, p. 4049, to be amended by:

Firstly, omitting all the land thirty, fourthly, fifthly, sixthly, and seventhly described therein.

Secondly, amending the following descriptions:

(a) Deleting from the land fourteenth described therein the words “conveyance 14639” and substituting the words “conveyance 14369.”;

(b) Deleting from the land seventy-fifth described therein the area “3364 square metres (3rl3p)” and substituting the area “2370 square metres(2rl3.7p).”;

(c) Deleting all the land eighty-sixth and eight-seventieth described and substituting the description “9914 square metres (2alr32p), part 1 of Section 142 and part Section 144, Waimoa South District, all conveyance 14260, deeds index 7/296.”;

(d) Deleting from the land one hundred and sixty-sixth described therein the area “9130 square metres (2alrp)”, and substituting the area “9535 square metres (2alr7p)”, and,

(e) Deleting from the land one hundred and sixty-seventh described therein the area “1.4468 ha (3a2r12p)” and substituting the area “1.4063 ha (3alr36p).”

Thirdly—

(a) Adding to the land ninety described the words “marked A on plan L.O. 33596.”;

(b) Adding to the land thirty-first described the words “marked A on plan L.O. 33597.”;

(c) Adding to the land forty-seventh described the words “marked B on plan L.O. 33599.”;

(d) Adding to the land fifty-fourth described the words “marked A on plan L.O. 33599.”;

(e) Adding to the land seventy-first described the words “marked A on plan L.O. 33598.”;

(f) Adding to the land seventy-fifth described the words “marked B on plan L.O. 33598.”;

(g) Adding to the land one hundredth described the words “marked A on plan L.O. 33600.”;

(h) Adding to the land one hundred and twelfth described the words “marked B on plan L.O. 33600.”;

(i) Adding to the land one hundred and fifty-fourth described the words “marked B on plan L.O. 33602.”;

(j) Adding to the land one hundred and sixty-seventh described the words “marked A on plan L.O. 33603.”, and,

(k) Adding to the land two hundred and forty-seventh described the words “marked A on plan L.O. 33604.”

Fourthly—

Adding at the end of the notice after the words “Hope Survey District”:

“As the same are more particularly delineated on the said plans. And which lands described as contained in the various conveyances are more particularly delineated on the plans endorsed on those conveyances registered in the Deeds Registry at Nelson.

And all of which plans as above mentioned marked with the prefixes “L.O.” and “P.W.D.” respectively are deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Corporation at Wellington. And all of which lands as above described are shown on the mileage plans of the Nelson Glenhope Railway deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Corporation at Wellington as aforesaid subject to any rights of way or other easements affecting the land.”

Declaring Land Acquired for Railway Purposes at Invercargill and Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 42 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown Land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 33887 (S.O. 10373), deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Corporation at Wellington, and thereon marked as above mentioned.

Declaring Railway Land at Dunedin Now Set Apart for State Housing Purposes

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart, subject to the Housing Act 1955, for State housing purposes.
