Revocation of a Notice Relating to the Cancellation of the Vesting
of Control of a Reserve in the Bay of Islands County Council and
Appointment of a Board to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason
of an error made in the notice hereinafter described the
Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the notice cancelling
the vesting of control in the Bay of Islands County Council, of the
reserve for local purpose (esplanade) described in the Schedule
hereto, and appointing the Bay of Islands Maritime and Historic
Park Board to control and manage the said reserve, dated 21 May
1982 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 5 August 1982,
No. 90, page 2578.

Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Lands, the Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Crown
Lands hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto,
as a scenic reserve, for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a)
of the Reserves Act 1977, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
