Land Declared to be Road and Road Stopped in Block XI,
Alexandra Survey District, Raglan County

PURSUANT to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the
First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Raglan
County Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road
described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and
that the land, now known as Allotment 491, Pirongia
Parish, shall vest in Italina Doris Bowe of Te Pahu, married
woman, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. H.142679
and No. H. 277254, South Auckland Land Registry.

Declaring a Sewage and Drainage Easement Over Land Acquired
for a Secondary School in the City of Gisborne

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient
agreement to that effect having been entered into, the sewage and
drainage easement described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
acquired and vested in the Crown for a secondary school over the
land described in the First Schedule hereto to be held appurtenant
to the land held for a secondary school described in the Third
Schedule hereto on the 18th day of August 1983.

FIRST SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

Servient Land

All that piece of land situated in the City of Gisborne, being part
Lot 287, Town of Gisborne; as shown marked A on D.P. 6811
(called the servient land).

SECOND SCHEDULE

Description of Easement

The full right for Her Majesty the Queen (called the Crown) to
drain water and sewage by means of piped drains along, over or
under the servient land, such grant being in accordance with para-
graphs 3 and 4 of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act
1952, together with the additional rights contained in paragraph 5
of the said Seventh Schedule provided that—

(1) the Crown will keep and maintain at its own cost the pipelines
in good and serviceable repair and shall not nor will allow
the same to fall into disrepair;

(2) all legal and survey costs of and incidental to this grant shall
be paid by the Crown;

(3) should any maintenance or other work herein required to be
carried out by the Crown result from the wilful or negligent
