ALL that area in the Nelson Land District containing 9030 hectares, approximately, situated in the Westport Borough and Buller County bounded by a line commencing on the mean high water mark of the Tasman Sea being the westernmost corner of the Waimangaroa Fire District hereinbefore described, and proceeding generally south-easterly along that boundary to a point on the south-eastern boundary of part Section 68, Block V, Kawatiri Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said part Section 68, the north-eastern, south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 59, Block VIII, Kawatiri Survey District, the south-eastern boundary of Section 49, Block VIII, Kawatiri Survey District and its production across the end of a legal road, and the Orowaiti River to a point on the true left bank of the Orowaiti River; thence again generally south-westerly along the said true left bank to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 9, Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District;

Thence by a right line to the eastern corner of the said Section 43, along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 43, the south-eastern boundaries of Section 38, the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 37, the north-western boundary of Section 4, all of Block I, Ohika Survey District to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 3, Block II, Waitakere Survey District; thence by a right line across State Highway No. 6 to, and along the eastern boundary of the said Section 3, to the northern and northern boundaries of Section 2, Block II, Waitakere Survey District, the northern boundary of the said Section 3 and its production across Waite Road; thence generally north-westerly along the eastern, southern and western boundaries of Section 28, Block IV, Steeples Survey District to a point on the south-eastern boundary of a closed road; thence along the south-eastern boundary of the said closed road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of part Section 22, Block IV, Steeples Survey District;

Thence to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of the said part Section 22, the western boundaries of Section 30, the southern and north-western boundaries of Section 40, all of Block IV, Steeples Survey District; thence generally northerly along the north-western boundary of Section 69, Block II, Steeples Survey District to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 2, Block II, Steeples Survey District, across Bulls Road to and along the said south-western boundary of Section 2, the south-western, north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Section 1, Block II, Steeples Survey District to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 29, Block II, Steeples Survey District; thence by a right line across Cape Foulwind Road to and along the said western boundary of Section 29 and its production across Crown land reserved from sale to a point on the mean high water mark of the Tasman Sea; thence generally north-easterly along the said mean high water mark across the mouths of all rivers and streams back to the point of commencement.

GRANITY FIRE DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District containing 670 hectares, approximately, situated in the Buller County bounded by a line commencing at a point on the mean high water mark of the Tasman Sea in line with the south-western boundary of Section 23, Block XIV, Mokihinui Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the said Section 23 and its production across the Seddonville Branch Railway, and State Highway No. 67, along the north-eastern boundary of Section 17 and a piece of Crown land, both Block XIV, Mokihinui Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said piece of Crown land and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Ngakawau River; thence again generally, south-westerly down the middle of the said Ngakawau River to its confluence with Mine Creek, up the said Mine Creek to a point on the block boundary between Blocks I and II, Ngakawau Survey District; thence generally southerly along the said block boundary to a point on the north-western boundary of Section 20, Block VI, Ngakawau Survey District;

Thence generally south-westerly along the north-western, north-eastern, south-eastern and south-western boundaries of the said Section 20, the south-eastern boundaries of part Section 6, Block VI, Ngakawau Survey District, the south-eastern boundary of Lot 3, Section 6, Block VI, Ngakawau Survey District and the north-eastern side of Beatty Road, thence by a right line to and along the south-eastern boundary of Nansen Street, the south-western side of Beresford Street to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 262, Block VI, Ngakawau Survey District; thence by a right line across the Westport Coal Company Reserve and Napier Street to and along the said north-western boundary of Section 262 across Ross Street to and along the south-western side of Seymour Street, across the incline reserve and again along the said south-western side of Seymour Street and a legal road to the north-eastern corner of parts Section 9, Block VI, Ngakawau Survey District;

Thence generally south-westerly along the south-eastern, south-western and north-western boundaries of the said parts Section 9, the north-eastern, northern and the north-western boundaries of Section 24, Block VI, Ngakawau Survey District; thence again generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Sections 38, 39, 40, and 41, across the end of a legal road, and along the south-eastern boundary of Sections 42 and 43, all of Block VI, Ngakawau Survey District; thence again generally south-westerly along the north-eastern side of a legal road, across the end of the said legal road and along the south-western boundary of Sections 17 and 16, the north-eastern boundaries of Section 8, the northern and south-eastern boundary of Section 12 and the south-eastern boundary of Section 10, all of Block VI, Ngakawau Survey District; thence by a right line across a legal road to the middle of Jones Creek; thence generally north-westerly along the middle of the said Jones Creek to a point in line with the south-western corner of the northern portion of part Section 6, Block V, Ngakawau Survey District;

Thence by a right line to the said south-western corner of part Section 6; thence again along the south-western and north-western boundary of the said part Section 6, Block V, Ngakawau Survey District to a point in line with the western corner of Section 4, Block V, Ngakawau Survey District; thence by a right line across a legal road, the Seddonville Branch Railway, and No. 67 State Highway to and along the south-western boundary of the said Section 4; thence generally north-easterly along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 3, Block V, Ngakawau Survey District and the last-mentioned boundary produced across a legal road to a point on the mean high water mark of the Tasman Sea; thence generally north-easterly along the mean high water mark of the Tasman Sea across the mouths of all rivers and streams back to the point of commencement;
