Inclusion of Areas of Lake, Harbour, and Territorial Sea in the
Region of the Nelson Bays United Council
PURSUANT to section 19 (2) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1977, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that for the purpose of regional planning, the lakes, harbours, and territorial seas within the area described in the Schedule hereto are hereby included in the region of the Nelson Bays United Council, a body constituted pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974, by Order in Council, dated 3 November 1978, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 6 November 1978, No. 96, page 3025.
The notice including areas of lake, harbour, and territorial sea in the region of the Nelson Bays United Council dated 7 October 1980, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 16 October 1980, No. 122, page 3068, is hereby repealed.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of lake, harbour, and territorial sea within a line commencing on the mean high water mark on the sea coast at Kahurangi Point, being the north-west corner of Block V, Whakamarama Survey District, and then proceeding on a true bearing of 290° north-west along a right line to its intersection with the outer limit of the territorial sea (as shown on sea chart NZ 25); thence generally north-easterly along the outer limit of the territorial sea through Tasman Bay to a point at the intersection of a right line proceeding due north from the mean high water mark on the sea coast at Pukerau Point in Block IV, Whangamoa Survey District; thence proceeding due south along that line to Pukerau Point, thence generally south-westerly, north-westerly and north-easterly, north-westerly following the boundary of the Nelson Bays Region as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1978, page 3025, to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to section 19 (2) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1977, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that for the purpose of regional planning, the lakes, harbours, and territorial seas within the area described in the Schedule hereto are hereby included in the region of the Horowhenua United Council, a body constituted pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974, by Order in Council, dated 26 May 1980, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 29 May 1980, No. 62, page 1618.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of lake, harbour, and territorial sea within a line commencing on the mean high water mark in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4268, Block III, Paekakariki Survey District, and then proceeding north-west on a bearing of 300° along a right line to its intersection with the outer limits of the territorial sea to a point at the midpoint of the mouth of the Manawatu River; thence easterly along that line to the mouth of the Manawatu River; thence generally south-easterly, north-easterly, south-easterly, south-westerly following the boundary of the Horowhenua Region as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1980, page 1618, to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to section 19 (2) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1977, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that for the purpose of regional planning, the lakes, harbours, and territorial seas within the area described in the Schedule hereto are hereby included in the region of the Wellington Regional Council, a body constituted pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974, by Order in Council, dated 26 May 1980, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 29 May 1980, No. 62, page 1618.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of lake, harbour, and territorial sea within a line commencing on the mean high water mark in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4268, Block III, Paekakariki Survey District, and then proceeding north-west on a bearing of 300° along a right line to its intersection with the outer limit of the territorial sea (as shown on sea chart NZ 23); thence generally south-westerly along the outer limits of the territorial sea to a point on the line midway between the mean high water mark on the North Island sea coast and the mean high water mark on the South Island sea coast; thence generally south along this line to the outer limit of the territorial sea (as shown on sea chart NZ 25) at the southern entrance to Cook Strait; and thence south-easterly generally along the outer limit of the territorial sea to a point at the intersection of a line on a true bearing of 205° from the north-eastern boundary of Section A1, Block X, Pencarrow Survey District, and then proceeding along that line to the boundary; thence generally northerly and westerly following the boundary of the Wellington Region as described in New Zealand Gazette, 29 May 1980, page 1618, to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to section 19 (2) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1977, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that for the purpose of regional planning, the lakes, harbours, and territorial seas within the area described in the Schedule hereto are hereby included in the region of the West Coast United Council, a body constituted pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974, by Order in Council, dated 27 November 1978, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 30 November 1978, No. 104, page 3272.
The notice including areas of lake, harbour, and territorial sea in the region of the West Coast United Council dated 7 October 1980, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 16 October 1980, No. 122, page 3069, is hereby repealed.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of lake, harbour, and territorial sea within a line commencing on the mean high water mark on the sea coast at Kahurangi Point being on the north corner of Block II, Kahurangi Survey District, and then proceeding on a true bearing of 290° north-west along a right line to its intersection with the outer limit of the territorial sea (as shown on sea chart NZ 25); thence generally south-westerly along the outer limit of the territorial sea to a point at the intersection of a right line on a true bearing of 300° from the mid point of the mouth of the Awarua River in Block IX, Gorge River Survey District; thence proceeding along that line to the Awarua River, thence generally easterly, north-easterly, north-westerly following the boundary of the West Coast Region as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1978, page 3272, to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to section 19 (2) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1977, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that for the purpose of regional planning, the lakes, harbours, and territorial seas within the area described in the Schedule hereto are hereby included in the region of the Canterbury United Council, a body constituted pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974, by Order in Council, dated 14 May 1979, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 17 May 1979, No. 42, page 1529.
The notice including areas of lake, harbour, and territorial sea in the region of the Canterbury United Council, dated 7 October 1980, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 16 October 1980, No. 122, page 3068, is hereby repealed.
