National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 23 June 1982 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 2, Te Marua to Akatarawa. All that land marked A and B on S.O. Plan 31907 and being part of Sections 171 and 172, Hutt District, as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of plan L.A. 31/18/57 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Trentham, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Bylaw Regulating Heavy Traffic Loadings on the Kauaeranga River Bridge on No. 25 State Highway (Waitakaruru - Waihi via Coromandel)

Pursuant to the National Roads Act 1953 and the Transport Act 1962, the National Roads Board makes the following bylaw:

Bylaw

  1. This bylaw may be cited as National Roads Board Bylaw 1982, No. 2.

  2. This bylaw shall come into force on the day after its publication in the Gazette.

  3. In this bylaw the expression "heavy motor vehicle" has the meaning assigned to it in the Transport Act 1962.

  4. No person shall take or drive on to the Kauaeranga River Bridge at R.P. 24/4.19 on No. 25 State Highway (Waitakaruru - Waihi via Coromandel) any heavy motor vehicle or combination of heavy motor vehicles which exceeds the Class II gross weight restrictions as defined by the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974, Second Schedule, Table No. 3.

  5. Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200).

This bylaw was made by resolution duly passed at a meeting of the National Roads Board held at Wellington on the 23rd day of June 1982.

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 23 June 1982 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, Cambridge Borough Boundary to Gorton Road section for a width of 13 metres on the northern side commencing 265 metres east of the point of junction of the western boundary of part Section 14A, Block X, Cambridge Survey District (certificate of title 27B/1238) and extending for 100 metres eastwards across the frontages of part Section 14A and Lot 1, D.P. 30258 (certificate of title 27B/1237), as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of plan L.A. 22/9/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Hamilton, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 23 June 1982 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1 (Awanui - Bluff) from the northern boundary of part Section 18 (extended) at Kilmog to the southern boundary of part Section 12 (extended) at Merton, all within Block II, Waikoauiti Survey District, as more particularly shown on Sheets 1 and 2 of plan L.A. 70/8/61 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Dunedin, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 23 June 1982 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 22, Pukekohe to Tuakau section, for half its width on the eastern side across the frontages of Lot 2 and Lot 1, D.P. 93833 (certificates of title 50A/696 and 50A/695 respectively), as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of plan L.A. 14/70/6 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Auckland South, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 23 June 1982 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, Snake Hill to Whangarei section, for half its width on the eastern side from the point of junction of the southern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 93588 (certificate of title 50A/6), with the highway and extending northwards for 200 metres across the frontages of the said Lot 2 and of Lot 1, D.P. 93588 (certificate of title 50A/5), as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of plan L.A. 11/12/3 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Whangarei, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

The Road Classification (Kairanga County) Notice No. 1, 1982

Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Kairanga County) Notice No. 1, 1982.

The Kairanga County Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

The notices dated the 18th day of January 1951†, the 14th day of July 1952‡, the 3rd day of July 1970§, the 11th day of April 1975||, and the 3rd day of May 1976¶, which relate to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto, are hereby revoked.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws

I, Paul Leslie Bluett, acting Controller Marine Administration, pursuant to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, and in exercise of powers delegated to me pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby approve the Thames-Coromandel District Council's Foreshores and Waters Bylaw No. 7, Amendment No. 6, made by the Thames-Coromandel District Council on 25 March 1982, and confirmed on 29 April 1982.
