The Traffic (Waimca County) Notice No. 3, 1982

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimca County) Notice No. 3, 1982.

The road specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The notice under the Transport Act 1962, and the Traffic Regulations 1956, dated the 24th day of June 1963†, which relates to roads situated within Waimca County at Mapua, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimca County at Mapua:

Aranui Road: from a point 50 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from Tahi Street to its eastern end.

Iwa Street.

Toru Street.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimca County at Mapua:

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 23 June 1982 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 45, New Plymouth to Oakura section for half its width on the northern side commencing (a) at the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 8012, and extending westward for 20 metres; and (b) at the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 8102, and extending eastwards for 20 metres across the frontages of Lot 3 and Lot 2, D.P. 13550 (certificates of title F2/1066 and F2/1065 respectively), as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of plan L.A. 42/88/1 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, New Plymouth, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
