NOTICE is hereby given as follows:

That on the 16th day of June 1982, pursuant to section 8
of the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1948, His Excellency the
Governor-General was pleased to appoint:

Ian Stanley Beattie

as a trustee of the Waikato Savings Bank for the residue of
the term of office of Leonard Cheyne Reid.

Exempting the Museum of Transport and Technology from
Certain Requirements of the Tramway Carriage Regulations
1979

PURSUANT to regulation 71 of the Tramway Carriage Regula-
tions 1979, the Minister of Works and Development hereby
exempts the carriage of the Museum of Transport and Tech-
nology at Western Springs, Auckland, numbered in column 1
of the Schedule hereto from the requirements of the Tram-
way Carriage Regulations 1979 (1979/6), set out in column 2
of the Schedule

Land Acquired for Waterworks in Block III, Kumeu Survey
District, Rodney County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the
Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agree-
ment to that effect having been entered into, the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for waterworks and
shall vest in The Helensville Borough Council on the 1st day
of July 1982.

ALL that piece of land containing 450 square metres, situated

Residence) in Buller County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the
Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agree-
ment to that effect having been entered into, the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for a
State primary school (teacher's residence) on the 1st day of
July 1982.

ALL that piece of land containing 1008 square metres, situated
in Block XIV, Oparara Survey District, being part Section 7,

Land Acquired for the Purposes of the Fire Service Act 1975
in Malvern County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the
Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agree-
ment to that effect having been entered into, the land

purposes of the Fire Service Act 1975, and shall vest in the
New Zealand Fire Service Commission on the 1st day of
July 1982.

Land Acquired for the Purposes of the Department of Scienti-
fic and Industrial Research (Research Orchard) and an
Easement Granted for the Right to Transmit Electricity and
Telephone Communications in Block IV, Te Mata Survey
District, Hawke's Bay County

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of
Works and Development (a) Pursuant to section 20 declares
that an agreement to that effect having been entered into the
land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired
for the purposes of the Department of Scientific and Indus-
trial Research (Research Orchard); (b) Pursuant to section
103, grants to Longworth (H.B.) Limited, at Hastings, the
easement described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is
to be forever appurtenant to the land described in the Third
Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT

Land Acquired

ALL that piece of land containing 4.6238 hectares, situated
in Block IV, Te Mata Survey District, being part Lot 1,
D.P. 9638; as shown marked A on S.O. Plan 8161, lodged in
the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier.

SECOND SCHEDULE

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT

Easement Granted

THE full and unrestricted right for Longworth (H.B.) Limited
(together with its successors in title called the grantee) to
construct and maintain over that part of the land described
as "proposed easement" on the said S.O. Plan 8161 in a
proper and workmanlike manner poles, wires and ancillary
equipment (called the lines) for the purpose of transmitting
electricity and telephone communications to the land in the
said Third Schedule; together with the right for the grantee
its servants, workmen and agents with any tools, machinery,
vehicles or other equipment necessary on giving notice to the
Crown (except in an emergency situation) to enter the land
the subject of this easement and to remain there for any
reasonable time for the purpose of inspecting, maintaining
and renewing the lines, causing the least disruption as possible
to the Crown or its successors in title and making good any
damage caused to the Crown or its successors in title by the
exercise of this right. The Crown may at its option and
expense resite the lines ensuring that the grantee receives
lines for the above-mentioned purposes and with the least
disruption as possible to the grantee. If this option is exer-
cised then the Minister shall grant a like easement to the
grantee in respect of the new location.

THIRD SCHEDULE

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 8748 square metres, situated
in Block IV, Te Mata Survey District, being part Lot 1, D.P.
9638, being part Section 68, Woodlands Settlement. Balance
certificate of title 167/27.

Dated at Wellington this 23rd day of June 1982.
