$1.26 a kilogram.

(b) When sold by a retailer carrying on business elsewhere—

$1.28 a kilogram.

(2) If in respect of any lot of oranges sold by a retailer the maximum price calculated in accordance with the foregoing provisions of this clause is not an exact number of cents, the maximum price of the lot may be computed to the nearest whole cent.

SPECIAL PRICES WHERE EXTRAORDINARY CHARGES INCURRED

  1. Subject to such conditions, if any, as he thinks fit, the Secretary, on application by any retailer, may authorise special prices in respect of any Australian navel oranges to which this order applies where special circumstances exist, or for any reason extraordinary charges (freight or otherwise) are incurred by the retailer. Any authority given by the Secretary under this clause may apply with respect to a specified lot or consignment of oranges or may relate generally to all Australian navel oranges to which this order applies sold by the retailer while the approval remains in force.

DUTY IMPOSED ON RETAILERS

  1. Every retailer who offers or exposes any Australian navel oranges for sale in any shop shall keep in a prominent position in such proximity to the oranges to which it relates as to be obviously descriptive thereof, a ticket, placard, or label on which shall be stated in legible and prominent characters the following particulars:

(a) The retail price per kilogram.

(b) The words “Australian Navel”.

Pakuranga Community Arts Council: Change of Name to Howick and Pakuranga Community Arts Council

PURSUANT to section 32 (i) of the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, on the recommendation of the Northern Regional Arts Council and on the application of the Pakuranga Community Arts Council, the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council of New Zealand hereby designates the Howick and Pakuranga Community Arts Council for the following duly defined area:

“From Mellons Bay, east of Eastern Beach, to west and including Bucklands Beach up to the east coastline of Tamaki River to East Tamaki Road, across to Point View Drive to Maungamaungaroa Creek, south to Calthorpes Road, to the corner of Whitford Road and Sandstone Road, to Whitford Park Road to Ara-Katinga Road, then south-east to Magazine Bay on the Maraetai coast to Mellons Bay, i.e., including the Howick Borough.”

This notice revokes the previous notice headed “Designation of Pakuranga Community Arts Council” which appeared in the New Zealand Gazette No. 114 of 10 November 1977, on page 2940.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education and the proprietors of the following primary schools.

St Teresa’s, Main Road, Karori.
St Anthony’s, Tyndall Street, Pahiatua.
San Antonio, Orona Street, Eastbourne.
St Alban’s Convent, Somme Street, St Alban’s.

The said schools will enter into the State education system in accordance with the provisions of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, with effect from 26 May 1982.

Copies of the integration agreements are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, Government Buildings, Lambton Quay, Wellington and at regional offices.

Approval of Motor Cycle Safety Helmets in Terms of Traffic Regulations 1976

PURSUANT to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves for the purpose of regulation 31 of the said regulations, motor cycle safety helmets of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

SAFETY helmets manufactured by Star Products Ltd., bearing the model designation Laser and bearing the certificate mark of the Standards Association of Australia AS 1698.

Consent to Part of the Bed of Oakura Stream Being Proclaimed as Road

THE Secretary for Transport hereby consents to part of the bed of Oakura Stream comprising a total of 100 square metres as shown coloured blue and marked B on plan S.O. 54905 being proclaimed as road under section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981.
