Amending Notice to the Open Season for Game in the North Canterbury and Whangarei Acclimatisation Districts

The Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 38 of 5 April 1982 at page 1144 and page 1148 relating to the open season for game in certain acclimatisation districts is amended as follows.

In that portion of the Second Schedule which relates to the North Canterbury Acclimatisation District:

(13) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Rural Section 17571; thence along that boundary to a point due west of the easternmost corner of Rural Section 14341; thence along a right line to that point; thence westerly generally along the road forming the southern boundary of that section and of Rural Section 5785, to Heyward’s Road; thence north-westerly along Heyward’s Road to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of Reserve 3415; thence south-westerly generally along that boundary to a point in line with the southern boundary of Rural Section 17571; thence to and along that boundary to the south-western corner of the said Section 17571, the point of commencement, being the property of Mr G. (19) All that area of Reserves 5240 and 5241 situated in Blocks II and III, Christchurch S.D., and containing an area of 47 hectares, more or less, and controlled by the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society and known as the Silverstream Fish Hatchery.”

PURSUANT to section 50 (2) (b) of the Local Government Act 1974, the Minister of Local Government gives the following notice:

1. This notice may be cited as the Mount Roskill Borough Boundary Alteration Notice 1982.

2. The boundaries of Mount Roskill Borough are hereby altered by including within the said borough, the area of land described in the Schedule hereto, being land reclaimed from the sea.
