The Road Classification (Waipawa District) Notice No. 1, 1982
PURSUANT to Regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Waipawa District) Notice No. 1, 1982.

The Waipawa District Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

The notices dated the 20th day of December 1951† and the 9th day of December 1970‡, which relate to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto are hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
WAIPAWA DISTRICT
Roads Classified in Class One
Charlotte Street: from Oruawhara Road to No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to the H.B. Farmers Transport Depot.
Fraser Road: from Oruawhara Road to No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne).
Kereru Road: from No. 50 State Highway (Napier-Takapau via Fernhill) to Tikokino Road.
Makarora Road: from No. 50 State Highway (Napier-Takapau via Fernhill) to Tikokino Road.
Onga Onga Road: from No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to No. 50 State Highway (Napier-Takapau via Fernhill).
Oruawhara Road: from McSparran’s bridge at the Waipukurau/Waipawa District boundary to Fraser Road.
Sydney Street: from Charlotte Street to No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne).
Tikokino Road: from the Waipawa Riding boundary to No. 50 State Highway (Napier-Takapau via Fernhill).
Roads Classified in Class Two
ALL roads under the control of the Waipawa District Council not otherwise named in this Schedule.

Appointment of The Waimairi County Council to Control and Manage a Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of National Parks and Reserves of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby appoints The Waimairi County Council to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for historic purposes.
