  1. The generation of electricity by the use of water pursuant to this consent shall be carried out by means of the works described in the Schedule hereto.

  2. This consent shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 2003.

  3. This consent confers no rights to water under the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967 or otherwise.

  4. For the purpose of assessing the rental or annual sum payable in respect of this consent, the maximum generating capacity of the plant at the date of this consent is 10 kW.

SCHEDULE
General Description of Works

(a) Headworks consisting of a weir and intake with a water race and pipeline leading to the powerhouse giving a static head of approximately 48.8 metres.

(b) Powerhouse with all necessary equipment for generating electricity situated in part Section 1 of 11, Block III, Totaranui Survey District.

As shown on the plan marked NZE 1019 deposited in the office of the Electricity Division, Minister of Energy, at Wellington.

Electric Lines Licence—Authorising James Martin Robertson to Erect and Use Electric Lines

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Energy hereby licences James Martin Robertson of Takaka, subject to the following conditions, to lay, construct, put up, place and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regulations made in amendment of or in substitution for any of those regulations.

  2. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, and shall be a direct current system.

  3. This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 2003.

SCHEDULE

Electric lines leading from the powerhouse in a northerly direction and crossing the Tarakohe-Totaranui Road to a woolshed and worker’s dwelling.

All being situated in Section 21, Block III, Totaranui Survey District, in the Golden Bay County, as shown on the plan marked NZE 1019 deposited in the office of the Electricity Division, Ministry of Energy, at Wellington.

Reconstituting the Pureora State Forest Park Advisory Committee

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the State Forest Parks and Forest Recreation Regulations 1979, the Minister of Forests hereby reconstitutes the Pureora State Forest Park Advisory Committee.

The reconstituted committee shall consist of the Conservator of Forests, Auckland, and 9 appointed members, namely:

The Westlake High Schools Board of Governors Notice 1982

PURSUANT to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (2) This notice may be cited as the Westlake High Schools Board of Governors Notice 1982.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  1. The Westlake High Schools Board of Governors shall be constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board;

(b) One member elected by the teachers of the schools under the control of the board;

(c) Five members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the schools under the control of the board;

(d) One member appointed by the Takapuna City Council;

(e) One member appointed by the Council of the University of Auckland;

(f) Two members appointed by the Westlake High Schools Ex-pupils Association, each representing one of the schools controlled by the board;

(g) One member co-opted by the board itself, if and when it thinks fit.

  1. The Westlake High Schools Board of Governors Order 1963*, is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to section 15A of the Vocational Training Council Act 1968, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Hotel and Catering Industry Training Board Notice 1982.

  2. (1) There shall continue to be an industry training board for the hotel catering industry which shall be known as the Hotel and Catering Industry Training Board and shall comprise the following members:

(a) One member appointed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Vocational Training Council;

(b) One member appointed by the Director-General of Education;

(c) One member appointed by the Secretary of Labour;

(d) Two members appointed by the Hotel Association of New Zealand;

(e) Two members appointed by the New Zealand Federated Hotel, Hospital, Restaurant and Related Trades Employees Industrial Association of Workers;
