Land Taken for a Public Reserve in Block VI, Kawau Survey District, Rodney County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Honourable
Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public reserve
as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
11th day of February 1982.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 4044 square metres, situated
in Block VI, Kawau Survey District, and being Lots 14, 15,
16 and 17, D.P. 6975. All certificate of title, Volume 413,
folio 201, North Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 29th day of January 1982.

Reappointing Directors of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand

as a Director of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, to hold

Consenting to Silverpeaks County Council Reclaiming Land From Otago Harbour

At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of
February 1982.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Otago Harbour Board Lands
Vesting Act 1910, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby consents to the Silverpeaks County Council
reclaiming from the Otago Harbour areas totalling 20390
square metres (2.0390 hectares) of land, being the areas
listed in the Schedule hereto and shown on plan MD 16078,
deposited at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Transport
at Christchurch and at the Head Office of the Ministry of
Transport at Wellington, such lands being necessary to widen
parts of Aramoana Road along or bounded by the foreshore
to not more than 30,175 metres, and lay out and form the
same.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 175 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, considering that
the reclamation hereby authorised:

(a) Will not unduly interfere with or restrict any public
rights of navigation; and

(b) Is for the benefit of the public;

hereby authorises the Silverpeaks County Council to reclaim
from the Otago Harbour areas totalling 25022 square metres
(2.5022 hectares), being the areas shown on the plans as
listed in the Schedule hereto and shown on plan MD 16078,
deposited at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Transport
at Christchurch and at the Head Office of the Ministry of
Transport at Wellington.

  1. An area comprising 1130 square metres identified by the
    letter “B” on the sheet of plan MD 16078, marked S.O.

  2. An area comprising 210 square metres identified by the
