Land Acquired for the Purposes of a Road in Block IV, Piopioea Survey District, Taumarunui County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the purposes of a road, and shall vest in the Crown from the 23rd day of September 1982.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Blenheim Borough Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s Reserves Account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

State Forest Land Set Apart as Dedicated Area Lillburn Ecological Area—Southland Conservancy

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Forests Act 1949 (as inserted by section 2 of the Forests Amendment Act 1973, and amended by section 5 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), the Minister of Forests hereby gives notice that the various areas of land described in the Schedule hereto are hereby set apart and dedicated for the purpose of protecting and preserving an example of silver beech forest on limestone not represented in other protected State forest areas.

The area of land so dedicated shall be known as Lillburn Ecological Area.

State Forest Land Set Apart as Dedicated Area—Waikoau Ecological Area—Southland Conservancy

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Forests Act 1949 (as inserted by section 2 of the Forests Amendment Act 1973, and amended by section 5 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), the Minister of Forests hereby gives notice that the area of land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart and dedicated for the purpose of protecting and preserving all of the forest types within the catchment of the north branch of the Waikoau River, that is within Rowallan State Forest.

The area of land so dedicated shall be known as Waikoau Ecological Area.
