State Forest Land Set Apart as a Dedicated Area—Diggers Ridge Ecological Area—Southland Conservancy
PURSUANT to section 15 of the Forests Act 1949 (as inserted by section 2 of the Forests Amendment Act 1973, and amended by section 5 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), the Minister of Forests hereby gives notice that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart and dedicated for the purpose of preserving the major forest types of the northern portion of Dean State Forest ranging from Kahikatea swamp forest to Montane forest on the Billow Range.
The area of land so dedicated shall be known as Diggers Ridge Ecological Area.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—WALLACE COUNTY
4235 hectares, more or less, being State forest land in Blocks I, III, V, VI, VIII, IX, X, XI, Monowai Survey District, New Zealand Gazette, 1934, page 2195 and shown marked A on plan D45/5 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington. (S.O. 10044).

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 17) 1982
PURSUANT to regulation 17 of the Import Control Regulations 1973*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives notice as follows:
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 17) 1982.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the 24th day of September 1982.
- Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of Australia, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.
