- The Canterbury Education Board shall cease to control Ellesmere College and the sole control of that school shall be vested in the Board of Governors constituted by clause 2 of this notice.

Wellington Roman Catholic Integrated Schools (Attendance Dues) Notice 1981
PURSUANT to section 36 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice approving the charging of attendance dues at certain Wellington Roman Catholic Integrated primary schools. This notice supersedes the St Bernard’s Primary School, Brooklyn, Attendance Dues Notice 1980; the Cardinal McKeefry Primary School, Wilton, Attendance Dues Notice 1980 and the St Mary’s Primary School, Hastings, Attendance Dues Notice 1980.

This notice shall be cited as the Wellington Roman Catholic Integrated Schools (Attendance Dues) Notice 1981.

The proprietor of—
St Bernard’s Primary School, Brooklyn
Cardinal McKeefry Primary School, Wilton
St Mary’s Primary School, Hastings
Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, Palmerston North
St Joseph’s Primary School, Upper Hutt
St Patrick’s School, Paraparaumu
St Joseph’s School, Wairara
may enter into an agreement with the parents or other persons accepting responsibility for the education of a child at any of the above-mentioned schools requiring them to pay attendance dues.

The attendance dues payable in respect of any pupil shall be $60 per annum.

Attendance dues received by the proprietor may be used for the purpose of paying for such improvements to, or for such capital works associated with, the buildings and associated facilities of any of the above-mentioned integrated schools as may be required or approved by the Minister of Education pursuant to section 40 (2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, or for meeting debts, mortgages, liens, or other charges associated with any of the land and buildings that constitute these integrated schools.

Amendment
PURSUANT to section 21 of the Forests Act 1949 (as amended by the Forests Amendment Act 1970), the First Schedule of the Proclamation issued on the 10th day of December 1975, and appearing in the New Zealand Gazette of 15 January 1976, No. 2, page 69, is hereby amended from the 42nd line to read: “eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 805, the eastern side of Umutoi Road to Coal Creek, along the left bank of Coal Creek to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 3, Block VIII, Umutoi Survey District. . . .”

State Forest Land Set Apart as a Dedicated Area—Onekura Ecological Area—Auckland Conservancy
PURSUANT to section 15 of the Forests Act 1949 (as inserted by section 2 of the Forests Amendment Act 1973, and amended by section 5 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), the Minister of Forests hereby gives notice that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart and dedicated for the purpose of protecting a fully representative area of the land forms, soil, and vegetation types of Puketi State Forest including dense virgin kauri stands and podocarp-hardwood forest.
The area so dedicated shall be known as the Onekura Ecological Area.
