Approval of a Decision of the New Zealand Ports Authority

PURSUANT to section 12 (12) of the New Zealand Ports Authority Act 1968, I, Colin Campbell Alexander McLachlan, Minister of Transport, hereby give notice that I have approved the adoption of the proposal for Port Taranaki to be a port for the handling of hydro-carbon and allied petro-chemical products, as part of the national ports plan.

The approved proposal to change the national ports plan in the above respect is available for public inspection during ordinary working hours at the offices of the New Zealand Ports Authority in Wellington.

The Traffic (Manukau City-Mangere/Otara Wards) Notice No. 1, 1981

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Manukau City-Mangere/Otara Wards) Notice No. 1, 1981.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within the Mangere and Otara Wards of Manukau City:

No. 20 State highway (Onehunga-Redoubt Road via Papatoetoe): from Valiant Street to George Bolt Memorial Drive.

Boundary Road: from Chapel Road to a point 100 metres measured easterly, generally, along Boundary Road from Othello Drive.
