Notice to Export Marine Mammal Specimens
(Notice No. 2631, Ag. 9/6/16/1)

PURSUANT to section 5 (5) of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978, the Minister of Fisheries hereby advises that the National Museum of New Zealand has applied for a permit to export:

One (1) skull and jaws of a Pygmy Right Whale (Caperea marginata).

One (1) skull and jaws of a Pygmy Sperm Whale (Kogia breviceps).

One (1) skull and jaws of a Cuvier’s (or Goose-beaked) Whale (Ziphius cavirostris).

One (1) skull and jaws of a Strap-toothed Whale (Mesoplodon layardi).

One (1) skeleton of a Scamperdown Whale (Mesoplodon grayi).

One (1) skeleton of a Common (or Saddleback) Dolphin (Delphinus delphis),

to the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, U.S.A., for research purposes.

The Minister of Fisheries hereby calls for any submissions regarding this application to be made in writing within 28 days of publication of this notice.

The Traffic (Manukau City, Manurewa Ward) Notice No. 1, 1981

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Manukau City, Manurewa Ward) Notice No. 1, 1981.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

Airfield Road: from a point 40 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from Takanini School Road to Mullins Road.

Alfriston Road: from the eastern side of No. 1 State highway (Awanui-Bluff) to Alfriston-Ardmore Road.

Browns Road: from Roscommon Road to Dagenham Street.
