National Roads Board: Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway No. 3, New Plymouth to Inglewood Borough section, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 6 of plan M.O.W. 15023 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, New Plymouth, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 17 June 1981 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 17 February 1969* made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for half its width on the southern side commencing 150 metres east of the point of junction of the western boundary of part Section 120, Tarurutangi District (C.T. C2/767), with the State highway and extending eastwards for 60 metres.

National Roads Board: Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway No. 60, Motueka to Dehra Doon Road (Hop Research Station), as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 4 of plan L.A. 54/58/1 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Nelson, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 17 June 1981 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 16 July 1975* made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for half its width on the eastern side for a distance of 20 metres across the frontages of Lots 4 and 5, D.P. 3574 (C.T. 99/76), commencing at the point of junction of the common boundary with the State highway.

REFERRING to State Highway No. 29, Hinuera rail crossing to State Highway 1 at Piarcce Section, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 15 of plan L.A. 23/112/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Hamilton, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 17 June 1981 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 16 February 1977* made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for a width of 13 metres on the south-eastern side and extending for 60 metres across the frontage of part Lot 2 of Section 96, Block IX, Tapara S.D. (C.T. 905/223) commencing 457 metres south-west of the point of junction of the eastern boundary of the said land and the State highway.

REFERRING to State Highway No. 1, Ngaruawahia to Hamilton, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 10 of plan M.O.W. 11868 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Hamilton, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Road Board by resolution dated 17 June 1981 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 21 February 1966* made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for a width of 13 metres on the north-eastern side extending 120 metres northwards across the frontage of Lot 3, D.P.S. 5134 (C.T. 1C/456) and 20 metres southwards across the frontage of Lot 1, D.P. S. 10458 (C.T. 7B/117) commencing at the point of junction of their common boundary with the State highway.

Revoking State Highway and Declaring Public Highway to be State Highway

PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works and Development, gives notice that the State highways described in the First Schedule hereto are revoked, and that the public highways described in the Second Schedule hereto are declared to be State highways, within the meaning and for the purposes of the National Roads Act.
