NOTES

1. This declaration shall come into effect upon first publication in a newspaper circulating in the infected area.

2. It is an offence to move plants or tree material (including branches, needles, and Christmas trees) from the infected area if such are of pine or other coniferous species and have not been treated for the purpose of needle cast disease control to the satisfaction of an authorised Forest Officer.

3. The infected area may be generally and roughly described as the land east of the portion of State Highway 1 that runs from Kamo to Hukerenui, and north of that land east of the Whangarei/Bay of Islands County boundary from Hukerenui to near Punaruku.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 15 May 1981, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club known as the Beachlands Ex-Services and Citizens Club (Inc.).

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday (not being New Year’s Eve) and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.
