PURSUANT to section 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby renews the Order in Council of 18 May 1960* which granted control of the foreshore from the mouth of the Waitohu Stream to the mouth of the Otaki River in the Otaki Borough Council, such renewal to be for a further term of 21 years from 2 May 1981.

Authorising the Bay of Plenty Harbour Board to Reclaim Land from the Bed of Tauranga Harbour

PURSUANT to section 175 (3) and subject to sections 176 to 182 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Bay of Plenty Harbour Board to reclaim from the bed of Tauranga Harbour areas totalling 1.4954 hectares, more or less, being 8023 square metres of foreshore vested in the Bay of Plenty Harbour Board and 6931 square metres of Crown Harbour bed, as shown on plan MD (N) 783 (S.O. 51222) deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Auckland.

Adding Land to Abel Tasman National Park

PURSUANT to section 10 (1) of the National Parks Act 1952 and Section 20 (g) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1924, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of Abel Tasman National Park, and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Department of Lands and Survey, Nelson, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.
