Declaring Land in Wellington Land District, Vested in the Wanganui Education Board as a Site for a Teacher's Residence, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui Education Board as a site for a teacher's residence, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—RANGITIKEI COUNTY
1012 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 12841, situated in Block XVI, Tiraaukawa Survey District. All certificate of title 503/262.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of May 1981.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 61 (2) (a) of the Electoral Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Electoral Main Rolls Closing Order (No. 2) 1981.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette. -
Date for closing of main rolls—The main roll for every General electoral district and for every Maori electoral district shall close on the 25th day of June 1981.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order closes, as at the 25th day of June 1981, the main rolls for all electoral districts. This enables the main rolls to be printed and published as at that date. They will then be available to the public for checking. The making of this order does not preclude the making of a subsequent order later in 1981 closer to the date of the expiration of the present Parliament or the printing of a composite roll as at writ day.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Waimairi County Council and be under the control and management of the Waimairi County Council.

PURSUANT to section 23 (1) of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
(1) (i) This order may be cited as the redefinition of the Kaikoura Pest Destruction District.
(ii) The boundaries of the Kaikoura Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 7th day of April 1971, are hereby redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF KAIKOURA PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
All that area in the Marlborough Land District, counties of Kaikoura, Amuri and Marlborough, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the sea coast and the middle of the Conway River, at the south-eastern corner of Block XXI, Hundalee Survey District, and proceeding generally westerly and northerly along the middle of the Conway River to its source; thence northerly along a right line to Palmer Saddle in Block XI, Acheron Survey District; thence generally westerly and south-westerly along the summit of the Amuri Range to the watershed between the Mason and Towy Rivers; thence generally south-easterly along that watershed to an unnamed peak 1240 metres (4070 feet) in height; thence along a bearing of 204° to the intersection of the middle of
