Reconstituting the Tararua State Forest Park Advisory Committee

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the State Forest Parks and Forest Recreation Regulations 1979, the Minister of Forests hereby reconstitutes the Tararua State Forest Park Advisory Committee.

The reconstituted committee shall consist of the Conservator of Forests, Palmerston North and 9 appointed members, namely:

Charles Kay Arcus,
Robert James Arnold Badland,
Alistair Stewart Barr,
Philip Anthony Black,
Geoffrey Eric Brindle,
Roger Herbert Ingram Hunter,
Paul John Milson,
William John Sharp,
John Plested Tristram.

The appointed members shall hold office for a term expiring on the 1st day of March 1984.

Appointment of Deputy Chairman of the Tobacco Board

PURSUANT to section 4 (3) of the Tobacco Growing Industry Act 1974, the Minister of Trade and Industry, on the recommendation of the Tobacco Board, appoints

Moore Grant Baumgart, officer of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Nelson,

to be Deputy Chairman of the Tobacco Board.

Appointment to the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council and Three Regional Arts Councils

PURSUANT to sections 3 (2) (c), 27 (2) and 29 (5) of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, and to sections 4 (1) and 28 (1) of the Act as amended by the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand Amendment Act 1978, the Minister for the Arts has appointed:

Leonard Ramsay Castle to be a member of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand for a term of office expiring 31 March 1984.

Ronald Andrew Sharp to be chairman of the Northern Regional Arts Council for a term of office expiring 31 March 1984.

John Buchanan Dalton to be a member of the Northern Regional Arts Council for a term of office expiring 31 March 1984.

Morva Olwyn Croxson to be chairman of the Central Regional Arts Council for a further term of office expiring 31 March 1983.

Audrey Rhonda Greig to be a member of the Central Regional Arts Council for a further term of office expiring 31 March 1982.

John Brodie Matthews to be a member of the Central Regional Arts Council for a term of office to take effect when the sitting member, Colin Francis Knox, resigns and to continue for the balance of his term expiring 31 March 1982.

Fergus Gordon Paterson to be chairman of the Southern Regional Arts Council for a further term of office expiring 31 March 1984.

Susan Gillespie Wall to be a member of the Southern Regional Arts Council for a term of office expiring 31 March 1984.

Peter Malcolm William Entwisle to be a member of the Southern Regional Arts Council for a term of office expiring 31 March 1984.

Reappointment of Director of New Zealand Dairy Board

PURSUANT to section 3 (2) (c) of the Dairy Board Act 1961, the board has received advice from the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co. Ltd., that Reginald Graham Calvert of Te Ahu Road, R.D. 1, Tuakau, has been reappointed for a further term of office of 4 years from 1 July 1981, as a director of the New Zealand Dairy Board.
