Declaring Land Taken for Road in the City of Gisborne

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and shall vest in the Gisborne City Council from and after the 22nd day of January 1981.

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Road Closed and Vested in Block V, Lindhurst Hundred, Southland County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Southland County Council, and hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, and declares that the road firstly, thirdly and sixthly described in the Second Schedule, when so closed, shall vest in Rex Gordon Evans of Brydone, and Alexander Gordon Evans of Riversdale, farmers as tenants in common in equal shares, subject to mortgages Nos. 022914.6, 053344.2 and 022914.7; and that the road ninthly described in the Second Schedule hereto, when so closed, shall vest in George Innes Spencer, farmer (¾ share), and Ethel Margaret Spencer, spinster (¼ share), both of Brydone, as tenants in common in the said shares.
