Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional
Integration Act 1975, notice is given that an integration
agreement has been signed between the Minister of Educa-
tion and the proprietor of the following secondary school.

Wellington Diocesan School for Girls (Nga Tawa), Marton,
Private Bag, Marton.

The said school will enter into the State education system
in accordance with the provisions of the Private Schools
Conditional Integration Act 1975, with effect from 2 February
1982. A copy of the integration agreement is available for
inspection without charge by any member of the public at
the Department of Education, Head Office, Government Build-
ing, Wellington.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at
Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962
as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amend-
ment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice,
hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee
on 6 November 1981 made an order authorising variations
of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known
as the Newmarket Tavern.

To the intent that on days other than those on which
licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of
liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and
closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (not being
Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day)—
Opening at 9 o’clock in the morning and closing at
8 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Christmas Eve,
New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day—Opening at 11
o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in
the evening.

as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amend-
ment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice,
hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Com-
mittee on 6 November 1981 made an order authorising varia-

The Water Recreation (Lake Brunner) Notice 1981

I, Robin Paul Taylor, Senior Executive Officer (Harbours
and Foreshores), pursuant to the Water Recreation Regula-
tions 1979
and in exercise of powers delegated to me pur-
suant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act
1968, hereby give the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation
    (Lake Brunner) Notice 1981.

(b) This notice shall come into force 14 days after publica-
tion in the New Zealand Gazette and shall remain in force
until revoked by further notice in the Gazette.

  1. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule
    hereto, regulations 7 (1) a, 7 (1) b, 7 (2), 8 (1) a, 8 (1) b
    and 8 (2) of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979 shall
    not apply to those areas as specified in the First Schedule.

  2. Notice is hereby given that the Motor Launch (Lake
    Brunner) Notice 1975—Grey County Council† is hereby
    revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

FIRSTLY, all that area of water at the north western side of
Lake Brunner, Blocks VIII, XI and XII, Hohonu Survey
District commencing at a marker post situated at the edge of
the Lake at Drake Point, thence out into the lake on a bear-
ing of 090° for a distance of 200 metres, thence generally north
westward 200 metres from the shore to the northern boundary,
being a marker post situated at the edge of the lake bearing
236° distant 254 metres from the eastern side of the outlet of
the lake into the Arnold River, thence out into the lake on
a bearing of 120° for a distance of 200 metres, as more par-
ticularly shown marked green on plan MD 16090 deposited
in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Secondly, all that area of water at the south eastern side
of Lake Brunner, Block XII, Hohonu Survey District and
Block IX, Te Kinga Survey District commencing at a marker
post situated at the edge of the lake at Iveagh Bay at a point
400 metres south of the entrance to Cashmere Bay thence out
into the lake on a bearing of 270° for a distance of 200 metres,
thence generally south westward 200 metres from the lake
shore to the southern boundary being a marker post situated
at the lake edge 4500 metres from the point of commence-
ment, thence out into the lake on a bearing of 290° for a
distance of 200 metres, as more particularly shown marked
green on plan MD 16090 deposited in the office of the
Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

SECOND SCHEDULE

  1. Notwithstanding any other provision of this notice, no
    person who is permitted by any such provision to propel
    or navigate a small craft at a speed through the water exceed-
    ing 5 knots shall do so in any manner that is likely to
    endanger or unduly annoy any person who is, in, on, or using
    the waters, or fishing, or undertaking any recreational activity
    in the vicinity of the small craft.

  2. All persons in charge of a vessel shall adhere to and
    keep the provisions of all Acts and regulations not specifically
    exempted by this notice.

  3. A suitable notice as may be approved by the Regional
    Marine Officer, Ministry of Transport, Christchurch, shall be
    erected at the sites deemed necessary by the Regional Marine
    Officer.

    not apply to the waters of Lake Camp during the hours of
    9 a.m. to 8 p.m. excepting the two areas described in the
    First Schedule.

  2. Notice is hereby given that the Motor Launch (Lake
    Camp) Notice 1976—Ashburton County Council† is hereby
    revoked.
