Declaring That Certain Works to Alter or Divert the Awakino River in the Waimo District Have Been Executed for the Use, Convenience or Enjoyment of a Portion of State Highway No. 3

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 207 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the works executed on the land described in the Schedule hereto to alter or divert the Awakino River have been executed for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of the Mahoenui South section of State Highway No. 3, and such works shall for all purposes be taken and deemed to have been executed under the authority of the Public Works Act 1928.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block VI, Awakino East Survey District, described as follows:

Amending a Proclamation Taking Land for State Forest Purposes in Block XVII, Pine Valley Survey District, Marlborough County

DAVID BEATTIE, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby amend the Proclamation dated the 22nd day of July 1981 and published in Gazette, 30 July 1981, No. 92, at page 2101, taking land for State forest purposes in Block XVII, Pine Valley Survey District, Marlborough County, by deleting the preamble thereof, viz. the words:

“PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State Forest purposes and shall vest in the Marlborough County Council; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of July 1981”.

and substituting the following words:

“PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Forests Act 1949; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of July 1981.”

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a recreation ground, and shall vest in the Waitemata City Council, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of October 1981.
