Adding Land to Westland National Park

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 5th day of October 1981

Present:
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 7 of the National Parks Act 1980, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be a national park subject to the National Parks Act 1980 and shall be added to and form part of the Westland National Park.

SCHEDULE
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT—WESTLAND COUNTY

AREA 1.4636 hectares, more or less, being rural Sections 6084 and 6085, situated in Blocks IV and VIII, Waiho Survey District as shown on S.O. Plan 9834, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, at Hokitika.

Appointing a Member of the Auckland Harbour Bridge Authority

Pursuant to section 4 of the Auckland Harbour Bridge Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby appoints Warwick James Barraclough, Esquire, of Auckland, company director, to be a member of the Auckland Harbour Bridge Authority for a term of 5 years as from the date of this appointment.

Appointment

Squadron Leader D. G. Simpson, B.A., to be acting Wing Commander with effect from 29 June 1981, and to be Wing Commander with seniority from 11 November 1980 and effect from 3 July 1981.

Promotions

Flying Officer J. D. Crosby, B.Sc., to be Flight Lieutenant, with seniority from 17 January 1980 and effect from 26 May 1981.
Flying Officer M. R. H. Booth to be Flight Lieutenant, with seniority and effect from 27 May 1981.

Extensions of Commission

The commission of Squadron Leader G. J. Watson is extended to 21 June 1989.
The commissions of the following Flight Lieutenants are extended to the dates shown:

Transfers to Reserve

Squadron Leader Garry Raymond Walsh is transferred to the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 5 July 1983, with effect from 6 July 1981.
Squadron Leader Raymond Floyd White is transferred to the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 14 July 1983, with effect from 15 July 1981.
Flight Lieutenant Andrew William Liggins Mitchell, N.Z.C.E., is transferred to the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 1 July 1983, with effect from 2 July 1981.
Flying Officer David Glenn Lumdsden is transferred to the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 4 July 1985, with effect from 5 July 1981.
Pilot Officer Michael Sutton Callender is transferred to the Reserve of Air Force Officers until 11 June 1985, with effect from 12 June 1981.

Transfer to Retired List
