THE RIVERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Local Government Amendment Act 1978 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Riverton Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, to acquire land for road in the Borough of Riverton, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. A plan of the land so required is deposited in the Council office at Palmerton Street, Riverton, where it is open for inspection during ordinary office hours.

All persons directly affected by the taking of such land who have any objection to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and send the written objection within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington. If any such objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

Notice is hereby given that the Whangarei County Council intends, under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1974, to execute a certain work, namely, to maintain an existing road, and for the purpose of such work the land described in the schedule hereto is required to be taken pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928; and notice is further given that a plan showing the said land is deposited at the office of the Council situated at Springs Flat, Kamo, and may there be inspected without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the said work, or by the taking of the said land and who have an objection thereto, not being an objection as to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections in writing and send the same to the Secretary, Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12244, Wellington North, so as to reach him not later than 1 October 1980, being 40 days after the first publication of this notice. If any objection is received a public hearing of the same will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.

CITY OF WAITEMATA
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Notice is hereby given that the Waitemata City Council, pursuant to the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, proposes to execute certain public works, namely: (a) the realignment of approximately 700 metres of Piha Road known as the ‘s-bends’, situated about one kilometre from the end of the existing seal, and (b) the creation of a recreation ground adjoining the above realignment; and for these public works the land in the First and Second Schedules hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the Council offices at John Henry Centre, Pioneer Street, Henderson, where it is open for inspection during ordinary office hours; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

All those pieces of land situated in the City of Waitemata, being described as parts Allotment 39, Parish of Karangahape, having the approximate areas of .6727 hectares, and 2.2117 hectares, and which are more particularly shown on Waitemata City Council Plan No. 7358.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the Petroleum Act 1937, the Natural Gas Corporation of New Zealand Ltd. has made application to the Minister of Energy for a pipeline authorisation to convey natural gas by pipeline from a tap off point on the Oaonui-Huntly pipeline to a number of metering and pressure regulating stations in the township of Otorohanga.

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 34 (3)

Notice is hereby given that New Zealand Permanent Building Society, whose registered office is at Otago House, 9 Moray Place, Dunedin, desires to accept a transfer of engagements from Hamilton Permanent Building Society, and that the society first named in this paragraph has applied to the Registrar of Building Societies to confirm the transfer, notwithstanding that the consent in writing of the holders of two-thirds of the whole number of shares in the said society has not been obtained in manner required by the Building Societies Act 1965.
