State Forest Land Set Apart as State Forest Park for Addition to Mount Richmond State Forest Park

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 63b (1) of the Forests Act 1949 (as substituted by section 19 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as State forest park which shall hereby form part of the Mount Richmond State Forest Park.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY—WAIMEA COUNTY

Section 17, Block XII, Waimea Survey District: area 35.0500 hectares, and Section 20, Block XI, Waimea Survey District: area 39.8500 hectares. S.O. 12160.

As shown on plans 20/15, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of July 1980.

Land Held for Road Purposes and Land Held in Connection with Road in the City of Wellington Set Apart for Housing Purposes

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto was taken for road purposes and vested in the Wellington City Council by Declaration dated the 13th day of July 1979, and published in Gazette, 2 August 1979, Volume III, at page 2283, and registered as No. 286642.1 Wellington Land Registry, and whereas the land described in the Second Schedule hereto was taken for road purposes and vested in the Wellington City Council by Declaration dated the 23rd day of January 1980, and published in Gazette, 7 February 1980, Volume I, at page 257, and registered as No. 350353.1 Wellington Land Registry, and whereas the land described in the Third Schedule hereto was taken, subject to and together with the rights of way created by easement certificate No. 123652.3, in connection with road, and vested in the Wellington City Council by Declaration dated the 30th day of October 1979, and published in Gazette, 8 November 1979, Volume III, at page 3238, and registered as No. 294189.1, Wellington Land Registry.

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the said First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby set apart as from the 31st day of July 1980, for housing purposes, and also hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby set apart, subject to and together with the rights of way created by easement certificate No. 123652.3, as from the 31st day of July 1980, for housing purposes.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing 514 square metres, situated in the City of Wellington, being Lot 31, on D.P. 43203. Formerly all certificate of title, No. 14D/1265, and now being all the land contained in Declaration No. 286642.1, Wellington Land Registry.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing 700 square metres, situated in the City of Wellington, being Lot 30, on D.P. 50100. Formerly all certificate of title, No. 19D/678, and now being all the land contained in Declaration No. 350353.1, Wellington Land Registry.

THIRD SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing 658 square metres, situated in the City of Wellington, being Lot 33, D.P. 43203. Formerly all certificate of title, No. 14D/1267, and now being all the land contained in Declaration No. 294189.1, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of July 1980 by his Deputy.

Appointing a Non-elective Member of the North Canterbury Catchment Board

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 44 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints Brian Peter John Molloy of Christchurch, an officer of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, to be a member of the North Canterbury Catchment Board for a period of 3 years on and from 4 August 1980.

The Rotorua Electric Supply District Representation Order 1980

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House in Wellington this 21st day of July 1980

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER

  1. (i) This order may be cited as the Rotorua Electric Supply District Representation Order 1980.
    (ii) This order shall apply to the next general election of members of local authorities and each succeeding general election.

  2. Each of the two following groups of wards of the Rotorua District shall be a separate constituent district of the Rotorua Electric Supply District:
    (a) Rotorua, Central, and Ngongotaha Wards.
    (b) Kaharoa, Rotoiti, Rotomahana, Reporoa, Ngakura, and Mamaku Wards.

  3. The constituent districts of the Rotorua Electric Supply District, which are bracketed together in the first column of the Schedule hereto, shall be a combined district for the purposes of the said Act.

  4. The local authority of the constituent district distinguished in the first column of the Schedule hereto by the letter “(P)” shall be the principal local authority of the combined district of which it forms a part.

  5. The number of representatives of each constituent district or combined district shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district or combined district.

  6. The Order in Council constituting the Rotorua Area Electric Power Authority dated the 9th day of August 1971, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, on the 12th day of the same month at page 1586, is hereby amended by revoking paragraph 3 thereof and the Second Schedule thereto.
