PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road, and shall vest in the Whangarei County Council as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of June 1980.

Amendment to a Proclamation

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS a Proclamation dated the 11th day of April 1979, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, on the 26th day of April 1979, p. 1195, set apart certain State forest land in the Rotorua Conservancy of the New Zealand Forest Service to be known as Raukumara State Forest Park, and whereas the plan number described in the Fourth Appellation of the Schedule to the Proclamation read N. 71/7 and whereas the correct number of the said plan number is N. 71/17, now, therefore, pursuant to section 21 of the Forests Act 1949, I, the Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim that the plan number described in the aforesaid Schedule is hereby amended to read N. 71/17.

PURSUANT to section 63A (1) of the Forests Act 1949 (as substituted by section 19 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as State forest park which shall hereby form part of the Mount Richmond State Forest Park.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 3rd day of June 1980

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a motorway.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

All those traffic lanes, shoulders and verges forming that portion of public highway in the City of Takapuna, being part of the Auckland-Waiwera Motorway, commencing at the western end of Tristram Avenue and proceeding generally northwards for a distance of approximately 2.4 kilometres, and including the connections at Sunset Road and the crossing over Tristram Avenue and under Sunnynook Road, and terminating on the southern side of Sunset Road.

As shown on plan 1/95/16/3104/1, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
