National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
Referring to State Highway No. 2, Apata Overbridge to Carmichaels Road section, as more particularly shown on Sheets 1 to 14 of plan M.O.W.16172 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Tauranga, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 23 April 1980, and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 20 March 1970*, made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for a width of 13 metres on the southern side commencing at the eastern boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. 24031 (certificate of title 16A/844), and extending westwards for 75 metres across the frontage of the said part Lot 2.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws
Pursuant to section 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Robin Paul Taylor, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby approve the foreshore bylaws—Ocean Grove Recreation Reserve Board, passed and adopted at a meeting of the Ocean Grove Recreation Reserve Board held on 19 February 1980.

Poisons Regulations 1964—Approval of Alternative Form of Record
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to regulation 61, Poisons Regulations 1964*, the Registrar has approved a record in the form of a computer printout, of the supply on prescription of any poison as a medicine, such record being made and maintained in accordance with the system hereinafter described:

The computer to be used shall be the "Hewlett-Packard 3000/Series III" model; or equivalent.

Information to be recorded shall include the date of supply; the name and amount of the poison supplied, the name and address of the patient; the name of the prescriber; the number of repeats authorised and the initials of the dispenser.

The storage media which store this information shall be held in a place of security at the site of the central computer unit, for a minimum period of 3 years, following the date of the last record on any given storage media.

The information so stored shall be available on demand via dedicated leased lines by way of a keyboard-screen printer terminal situated within the pharmacy, only after the correct password identifying that pharmacy has been keyed into the system.
In addition, a printout of all prescriptions dispensed shall be supplied at regular intervals, for retention within the pharmacy.
- Appropriate labels, which comply with the requirements of the above regulations shall also be provided at the time of dispensing.

Misuse of Drugs Regulations 1977—Approval of Alternative Form of Record
Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to regulation 39, Misuse of Drugs Regulations 1977*, the Director-General of Health has approved a record in the form of a computer printout, of the supply of controlled drugs on prescription, such record being made and maintained in accordance with the system hereinafter described:

The computer to be used shall be the "Hewlett-Packard 3000/Series III" model; or equivalent.

Information to be recorded shall include the date of supply; the name and amount of controlled drug supplied; the surname and initials of the first names, and the address of the patient; the surname and initials of the first names, and the address of the prescriber; as required by regulation 37 (3), Misuse of Drugs Regulations 1977.

The storage media which store this information shall be held in a place of security at the site of the central computer unit, for a minimum period of 4 years, following the date of the last record on any given storage media.

Industries Development Commission Notice No. 1980/2—Inquiry Concerning the New Zealand Industry Engaged in the Manufacture and Repair of the Ships, Boats, and Floating Structures of Tariff Headings 89.01, 89.02, 89.03, and 89.05, Other than Yachts and Other Vessels for Pleasure or Sports and Air Cushion Vehicles
- In a letter of 18 April 1980, the Minister of Trade and Industry requested the Commission to prepare a development plan for the ship-building and repair industry on the following basis:
(a) To inquire into and report on the present situation of the industry engaged in the manufacture and repair in New Zealand of the ships, boats, and floating structures of tariff headings 89.01, 89.02, 89.03, and 89.05, other than yachts and other vessels for pleasure or sports and air cushion vehicles; the potential for its development; and its potential to contribute to New Zealand's economic growth, taking into account the interests of the manufacturers, commercial, and other users, and the distributive trade.
(b) To recommend lines of development considered desirable, and the nature and extent of assistance, if any, by way of protective devices or otherwise it considers appropriate for this industry, having regard to New Zealand's interest in developing her marine resources, especially fishing, within the 200-mile Exclusive Economic Zone, and any national strategic interest.
(c) To report on the above inquiry by 30 September 1980.
(d) When making its inquiry and report the Commission may take evidence on and otherwise have regard to any other matter or product it considers relevant to the inquiry under reference, or exclude from its consideration any matter or product it considers not relevant.
- The reference covers the manufacture and repair of warships of all kinds, tankers of all kinds, other vessels for the transport of goods, including vessels for the transport of both passengers and goods; trawlers and other fishing vessels including factory and other ships used in activities directly connected with fishing operations; barges both dumb and powered; vessels designed for towing or pushing other vessels; light vessels, fire floats, dredges of all kinds, floating cranes and other vessels, the navigability of which is subsidiary to their main function; floating docks, floating or submersible drilling or production platforms and other floating structures such as coffer dams, landing stages, buoys and beacons.
It does not cover yachts and other vessels for pleasure or sports and air cushion vehicles.
- To facilitate the preparation of a draft report the Commission invites submissions from interested parties on the issues raised in detailed "Guidelines For Submissions". These
