State Forest Land Set Apart as State Forest Park for Addition to Kaweka State Forest Park

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 63b (1) of the Forests Act 1949 (as substituted by section 19 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as State forest park which shall hereby form part of the Kaweka State Forest Park.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY—RANGITIKEI COUNTY
36.8660 hectares, more or less.
Firstly, being Section 2, Block XII, Kuripapango Survey District. Part Doc. 352759.2. S.O. Plan 6950 (1.4876 hectares).
Secondly, being Section 4, Block XII, Kuripapango Survey District. Part Doc. 352759.2. S.O. Plan 6951 (30.3386 hectares).
Thirdly, being Section 6, Block XII, Kuripapango Survey District. Part Doc. 352759.2. S.O. Plan 6952 (4.9083 hectares).
Fourthly, being Section 2, Block II, Ngaruroro Survey District. Bal. Doc. 352759.2. S.O. Plan 6952 (1315 square metres).

Vesting of Reclaimed Land in the Otahuhu Borough Council, Tamaki River

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 21st day of April 1980
THE RIGHT HON. R. D. MULDOON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 5 of the Tamaki River Reclamation Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests in the Otahuhu Borough Council that land described in the Schedule hereto, which land was authorised for reclamation by section 4 of the Tamaki River Reclamation Act 1960, such land to be vested in the Council for municipal purposes pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of reclaimed land in the Tamaki River situated in Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District, being Lot 1 and Lot 2, D.P. 69382, comprising a total of 13.6378 hectares, as shown on plan M.D. 15992 and deposited in the Office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.
The District Land Registrar is hereby authorised to make such entries in his register as are necessary to give effect to this order.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency, the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Naval Forces.
ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY
CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF
Rear Admiral N. D. Anderson, C.B., C.B.E., M.R.I.N., to be acting Vice Admiral, with effect from 14 April 1980, Vice Admiral, with seniority and effect from 16 April 1980, and is appointed Chief of Defence Staff for a period terminating on 15 October 1982.
CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF
Commodore K. M. Saull to be acting Rear Admiral, with effect from 14 April 1980, Rear Admiral, with seniority and effect from 16 April 1980, and is appointed Chief of Naval Staff for a period of 3 years.
Captain D. H. O’Donoghue, O.B.E., to be acting Commodore with effect from 14 April 1980, and Commodore, with seniority and effect from 16 April 1980.
Commander T. A. Riddell, O.B.E., to be acting Captain, with effect from 11 April 1980, and temp. Captain, with effect from 16 April 1980.
Commander N. McK. Walker, C.ENG., M.I.MECH.E., F.I.MAR.E., to be acting Captain, with effect from 14 April 1980, Captain, with seniority and effect from 18 April 1980, and his appointment is extended to 8 February 1988.
Lieutenant Commander R. E. Brown, M.R.I.N., to be acting Commander, with effect from 10 April 1980, and temp. Commander, with effect from 11 April 1980.

Peter Francis Keith Usher is appointed to the RNZN in the rank of Lieutenant (on prob.), with seniority from 21 April 1978 and effect from 21 April 1980; terminating on 18 January 1995.
ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVAL VOLUNTEER RESERVE
Lieutenant K. McD. Hunter, B.D.S., M.D.S., DIP.ED., is transferred to the Inactive List of the RNZNVR, with effect from 1 April 1980.
Sub Lieutenant E. A. Gailits, R.S.C., to be Lieutenant with seniority and effect from 24 January 1980.
EMERGENCY LIST OF THE ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY
The period of service on the Emergency List of the RNZN of Lieutenant Alan Laurence Henderson is terminated, with effect from 23 February 1980.
