PURSUANT to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves for the purposes of regulation 78 (1) (as inserted by regulation 3 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No. 2), the fitting in the seating positions specified in the Schedule hereto of the alternative types of seat belts specified in the Schedule to the vehicles specified in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE

In respect of any Subaru Car model 1600 GFT (with a chassis number included in the list below), two-point lap seat belts of an approved type for the use of the rear-seat passenger nearest the left side of the vehicle and the rear-seat passenger nearest the right side of the vehicle.
