Appointment of Chairman to the Indecent Publications
Tribunal
HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to
appoint pursuant to section 3 of the Indecent Publications
Act 1963
Walter Max Willis, Esquire, Stipendiary Magistrate of
Wellington,
to be a member and Chairman of the Indecent Publications
Tribunal for a term of 5 years on and from 1 February
1980, vice The Hon. Mr Justice Greig, resigned.

Appointment of Honorary Community Officers Under the
Maori Welfare Act 1962
PURSUANT to section 5 (1) of the Maori Welfare Act 1962,
the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby appoints the persons
named in the Schedule hereto as honorary community officers
for a term of 3 years.

Appointment of Maori Wardens Under the Maori Welfare
Act 1962
PURSUANT to subsection (i) of section 7 of the Maori
Welfare Act 1962 as substituted by section 14 of the Maori
Purposes Act 1975, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby
appoints for a term of 3 years the persons named in the
Schedule hereto, to be Maori wardens for the area of the
Maori Association set opposite the name of each such person
in the second column of the Schedule hereto.

Appointed
PURSUANT to section 33 of the Architects Act 1963, the
following persons have been appointed as members of the
Architects Education and Registration Board for a term of
3 years from 1 June 1979:
Derek Wilson, of Wellington,
appointed by the Minister of Internal Affairs;
Allan Arthur Wild, of Auckland; and
Clemons Landseer Green, of Wellington,
appointed by the Minister of Education;
Graydon Douglas Miskimmin, of Lower Hutt,
appointed by the Minister of Works and Development.
The notice signed on 21 August 1979 and published in
the New Zealand Gazette, 30 August 1979, No. 82, page
2574, and which contained an error in the christian names
of one of the appointees is hereby revoked.
