Shooting hours: 6.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. or any period within these hours except that during the period 30 June to 26 October 1980 inclusive and 7 February 1981 to 22 March 1981 inclusive, Canada goose may be hunted or killed 24 hours a day.
Decoy limit: No limit.
Special Conditions
-
No person shall, for the purpose of hunting or killing game, use any fixed stand, pontoon, hide, maimai, or loo on the waters of the Vernon or Wairau Lagoons which lie generally between the mouth of the Wairau River, south to the Vernon Rub, and west to the eastern boundary of Swansdown.

It shall be an offence for any person to wilfully leave in the field the bodies or parts of bodies of black swan or other game shot, in the Marlborough Acclimatisation District.

Special Condition
- No hut, mud hole, stand, hide, shelter, maimai, boat, louvre, or cylinder or other contrivance shall be used for the hunting or killing of game in any part of Lake Ellesmere in which the water is of a greater depth than 60 cm, excepting such areas as may be decided upon by the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society, provided that nothing in this special condition shall prevent any person using any vessel for the purpose of retrieving game that has been killed or wounded.
