Paradise duck (shooting of.. paradise duck(s) is prohibited in the area south-west of the Clutha River from the Cromwell gorge to the Beaumont Bridge and also in the areas east and south of the Lammermoor Range, Rock and Pillar Range, and then in a direct line from Hyde to Morrisons)

Grey, shoveler (or spoonbill), paradise, and mallard duck, 25 in all.

Shooting hours: 6.30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Decoy limit: No limit.

Special Condition.

  1. No person shall use, or cause to be used, on any water within the district for the hunting or killing of game any fixed stand, pontoon, hide, maimai, or loo, except within a distance of 10 metres from the margin of such water in non-tidal waters, or from the low-water mark in tidal waters or, where raupo abounds, 10 metres from the outside edge of such raupo.

Shooting hours: 6.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. excepting hen and cock pheasant which is 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. During the period 30 June 1980 to 26 October 1980 inclusive, and 7 February 1981 to 22 March 1981 inclusive. Canada goose may be shot 24 hours per day.

Decoy limit: No limit.

Also in that portion of the Society's district north of the highway running from the Glenure Hill via Balfour to the Ardlussa Bridge over the Mataura River on the Society's eastern boundary)
