Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of an urupa, to be known as Te Rawhiti O Matatere, for the common use and benefit of the Ngai Turanga and Whakatane Hapu of Tuhoe.

National Roads Board—Declaring a State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 February 1980 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 60, Hop Research Station to Riwaka Valley Road Section, for half its width on the southern side for 40 metres westward from the point of junction of the south-eastern boundary of part Section 277, District of Motueka (certificate of title 140/95) with the State highway as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan LA54/59/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Nelson, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 February 1980 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 6 from Kenningtion Road, Okara-rio to Mahakipawa Road, Havelock, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 3 of plan LA54/40/1 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Nelson, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 February 1980 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 2 (Pokeno to Wellington) from the south bank of the Rangitaiki River to its junction with Eastern Boundary Road, Whakatane, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 9 of plan LA25/40/1 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Rotorua, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

Referring to State Highway No. 57A, Palmerston North to Forest Hill Road Section as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 3 of plan M.O.W. 14738 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Palmerston North, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 20 February 1980 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 21 October 1968* made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for a width of 13 metres on the southern side across the whole frontage of part sections 235 and 236, Town of Fitzherbert (certificate of title 241/271).

Referring to State Highway No. 2, Katikati to Apata section as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 16 of plan M.O.W. 17140 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Tauranga, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 20 February 1980 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 30 June 1971* made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for a width of 13 metres on the eastern side along the State highway frontage of Lot 1, D.P. S. 15235 (certificate of title 13B/601) northwards from the Wainui River.

Referring to State Highway No. 57, Levin to Potts Road section as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan M.O.W. 36126 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Pori-rua, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 20 February 1980 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 20 May 1974* made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for half its width on the eastern side for a distance of 60 metres northwards from the southern boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. 25533 (certificate of title 3B/775).
