National Roads Board—Declaring a State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 February 1980, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, Paraparaumu to Paekakariki section for half its width on the southern side commencing 380 metres east of the western boundary of part Lot 3, D.P. 4269 (certificate of title 18D/457) and extending 50 metres there from eastwards as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan LA51/18/56 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Porirua, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Declaring a State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 February 1980 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, Manakau to Otaki section for half its width on the western side commencing 115 metres south of the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 41043 (certificate of title 18B/1286) and extending southwards for 20 metres as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan LA52/2/54 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Porirua, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 February 1980 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 2, Greytown to Featherston section for half its width on the eastern side over the whole of the frontage part section 59, Featherston Suburban, as shown on plan S.O. 31482 as Permanent Memorial as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan LA 51/16/3 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Masterton, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

Referring to State Highway No. 16, Tapu Road to Waimauku as more particularly shown on sheets 1 and 2 of plan LA10/61/1 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Auckland, and there available for public inspection; it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 20 February 1980 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 27 April 1978* made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for a width of 13 metres on its southern side across the whole of the frontages of Lot 1, D.P. 48434 (certificate of title 1805/51), and part Lot 5, D.P. 10409 (certificate of title 1817/66).

National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

Referring to State Highway No. 3, Turakina to Williamson Line as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 3 of plan M.O.W. 17992 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Wanganui, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 20 February 1980 pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 31 July 1972* made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for half its width on the southern side across the whole of State highway frontage of Lot 1, D.P. 14181 (certificate of title 543/176).

Bylaw-Regulating Heavy Traffic Loadings on the Gates of Haast Bridge on No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill)

Pursuant to the National Roads Act 1953 and the Transport Act 1962, the National Roads Board makes the following bylaw.

BYLAW

  1. This bylaw may be cited as National Roads Board Bylaw 1980 No. 1.

  2. This bylaw shall come into force on the day after its publication in the Gazette.

  3. In this bylaw the expression "heavy motor vehicle" has the meaning assigned to it in the Transport Act 1962.
