PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto and hereby declares that the road when so closed shall be incorporated in Crown lease LP429, recorded in register book, Volume 113, folio 229, Gisborne Land Registry, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Andrew Fraser McLean of Otoko, sheep-farmer, as to a one-third share; and Joan Frances McLean, widow, Andrew Fraser McLean, sheep-farmer, both of Otoko, and Malcolm Graham Dobson of Gisborne, chartered accountant, as executors as to a two-thirds share, subject to mortgage 87721, 130281.1, and 131895.1.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto and all that portion of airspace as is situated above a plane 28.20 metres in vertical height above the Christchurch Drainage Board datum, above the land described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby taken for road and shall vest in the Christchurch City Council, from and after the 21st day of February 1980.
