Authorisation of the Exchange of a Reserve for Other Land
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of National Parks and Reserves of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby authorises the exchange of the reserve for local purpose (cemetery), described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—TAURANGA COUNTY
2.1979 hectares more or less, being Section 37, Block VIII, Maketu Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette, 1979, page 210. S.O. Plan 50730.
SECOND SCHEDULE
2.1979 hectares, more or less, being Section 37, Block VIII, situated in Block VIII, Maketu Survey District. Part certificate of title, No. 5A/1337.

Appointment of the New Zealand Historic Places Trust to Control and Manage a Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of National Parks and Reserves of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby appoints the New Zealand Historic Places Trust to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for historic purposes.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—WAITAKI COUNTY—MAEREWHENUA HISTORIC RESERVE
7786 square metres, more or less, being Section 118, Maerewhenua Settlement, situated in Block IV, Maerewhenua Survey District. All document number 523441, and part Gazette notice 474137. S.O. Plan 18483.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Taupo Borough Council
PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director-General of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, vests the said reserve in the Taupo Borough Council in trust for that purpose.

Classification of Reserves—Revocation of Previous Notices and Issue of a Fresh Notice
PURSUANT to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Commissioner of Crown Lands, acting under delegation from the Minister of Lands, hereby revokes the notice as to the classification of reserves and the substitution notice which were published respectively in the New Zealand Gazette of 16 November 1978, No. 100, p. 3138, and 5 April 1979, No. 28, p. 1043, in relation to the reserves named in the Schedule hereto and hereby issues the following notice as a fresh notice in place thereof:
Classification of Reserves
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserves, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as reserves for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the said Act.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—RAGLAN COUNTY—RUAPUKE SCENIC RESERVE

BRYANT MEMORIAL SCENIC RESERVE
16.7385 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1 and Part Lot 2, D.P. S. 14566, situated in Blocks I, IV, and V, Karioi Survey District. Balance certificate of title No. 13A/451. PAKOKA SCENIC RESERVE

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in Block VI, Katikati Survey District, Tauranga County
PURSUANT to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by the Tauranga County Council, pursuant to the said section 323, and as from the date of this notice the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.
