The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification

DZ 5421 Energy labelling of passenger cars.

This draft standard proposes a means whereby the results of DZ 5420 Methods of test for petrol consumption of passenger cars can be expressed in suitable terms on a label to be displayed on new models of cars at the point of sale.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is 21 November 1980.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification

DZ 5418: Part 2 The containment of hazardous substances for multi-modal transport—
Part 2: Small containers.

This draft standard applied to packages that, in general, have a maximum net weight of 400 kilograms or a maximum capacity of 250 litres. The IMDG Code provides for the use of drums up to 450 litres, but these should not weigh more than 400 kilograms. The proposed standard may be extended to cover containers over 450 litres.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
