The Standards Act 1965—Specifications Declared to be Standard Specifications

PURSUANT to section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, the Standards Council, on 26 September 1980, declared the under-mentioned specifications to be standard specifications.

Number, Title, and Price of Specification (Post free)

NZS 3117:1980 (BS 1014:1975) Pigments for portland cement, and portland cement products. (Including Amendment A) $14.95. (Superseding NZS 693:1962)

NZS 5424:1980 High density pallet packing of pickled pelts. $7.55.

NZS 6601:1980 Safety requirements for mains operated electronic and related apparatus for household and similar general use. $16.50. (Superseding NZS 1678:1962).

Copies of the standard specifications may be ordered from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag,) Wellington.

The Standards Act 1965—Standard Specifications Proposed for Revocation

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned New Zealand standard specifications have been recommended for revocation pursuant to the provisions of the Standards Act 1965.

Any person who may be affected by the proposal to revoke these standard specifications, and who wishes to object to their revocation, is invited to submit comments to the Standards Association of New Zealand, Private Bag, Wellington, not later than 7 November 1980.

Number and Title of Specification.

NZS 93:1963 (BS 280:1957) Field rheostats and rheostats for other purposes. (Obsolete).

NZS 1304:1957 (BS 1319:1955) Medical gas cylinders and anaesthetic apparatus.

(A later edition of this British standard has been proposed for declaration as a New Zealand standard).
