Notice Declaring Burdock a Class B Noxious Plant
(No. 2249, Ag. 12/10/10)

1. Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares burdock (Arctium spp.) to be a class B noxious plant in those parts of New Zealand lying within the boundaries of:

(a) The Hastings Noxious Plants Regional Co-ordinating Committee;

(b) The Hawera, Kiwitea and Waitotara District Noxious Plants Authorities;

(c) The Kaikoura and Marlborough District Noxious Plants Authorities;

(d) The Canterbury Noxious Plants Regional Co-ordinating Committee; and

(e) The Bruce, Clutha, Lake, Maniototo, Waihemo, Waitaki, and Vincent District Noxious Plants Authorities.

2. This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of notification in the Gazette.

Notice Declaring Hawthorn a Class B Noxious Plant
(No. 2250, Ag. 12/10/10)

1. Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) to be a class B noxious plant in those parts of New Zealand lying within the boundaries of:

(a) The Hamilton Noxious Plants Regional Co-ordinating Committee;

(b) The Hastings Noxious Plants Regional Co-ordinating Committee;

(c) The Palmerston North Noxious Plants Regional Co-ordinating Committee;

(d) The Kaikoura, Marlborough, and Waimea District Noxious Plants Authorities;

(e) The Canterbury Noxious Plants Regional Co-ordinating Committee; and

(f) The Southland and Wallace District Noxious Plants Authorities.

2. This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of notification in the Gazette.

Notice Declaring Montpelier Broom a Class B Noxious Plant

(a) The Hastings Noxious Plants Regional Co-ordinating Committee;

(b) The Horowhenua and Wellington District Noxious Plants Authorities;

(c) The Kaikoura and Marlborough District Noxious Plants Authorities; and

(d) The Canterbury Noxious Plants Regional Co-ordinating Committee.

2. This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of notification in the Gazette.

Notice Declaring Variegated Thistle a Class B Noxious Plant
(No. 2252, Ag. 12/10/10)

1. Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares variegated thistle (Silybum marianum) to be a class B noxious plant.

(a) In those parts of New Zealand lying within the boundaries of:

(i) The Auckland Noxious Plants Regional Co-ordinating Committee;

(ii) The Hamilton Noxious Plants Regional Co-ordinating Committee;

(iii) The Palmerston North Noxious Plants Regional Co-ordinating Committee;

(iv) The Kaikoura and Waimea District Noxious Plants Authorities; and

(b) In that part of the Province of Canterbury lying north of the Rangitata River.

2. This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of notification in the Gazette.

National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway No. 22, Pukekohe to Tuakau section, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 3 of plan LA 10/70/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Auckland, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 17 October 1979 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 16 February 1977* made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for one half of its width on the southern side commencing at the intersection of the western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 15988 (certificate of title 1833/36) with the road reserve and extending eastwards for the entire frontage of the said part Lot 1.

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 17 October 1979 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 2, junction with SH 1, Pokeno to Mangatawhiri Valley Road for a length of 600 metres on the northern side commencing at the western boundary of part Allotment 123, Parish of Mangatawhiri (certificate of title 1131/241 Limited), and extending eastwards across the frontage of the said Allotment 123 and of Lot 1, D.P. 85984 (certificate of title 43D/421), as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan LA 14/32/4 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Otahuhu, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 17 October 1979 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 3, Waitotara to Marahau Road section, for a length of 20 metres commencing on the line of the western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 20932 (certificate of title 19B/833), and extending eastwards across the frontage of the said Lot 3 and also Lot 2, D.P. 20932 (certificate of title 19B/832), as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan LA 43/38/4 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Wanganui, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
