Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of an urupa to be called Pahaoa Urupa, for the common use and benefit of Whanau-a-kahu.

Declaring Maori Freehold Land to be Included in a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 (2) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold lands described in the Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be included in the existing Maori reservation known as Lot 340E, Parish of Waiocka, constituted by Order in Council dated 8 December 1965, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 76, of 16 December 1965, page 2226.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Canterbury Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Canterbury Licensing Committee, on 14 September 1979, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Mitre Tavern, Lyttelton.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 8 o’clock in the morning and closing at 7 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve—Opening at 8 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Hurunui Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Hurunui Licensing Committee, on 10 October 1979, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises set out in the Schedule below.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.
