Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Vested, Land
Taken and Vested in Hurunui County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby
proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto, which land shall vest in the Hurunui County Council;
and hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the
Second Schedule hereto; and hereby takes the land described
in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection
(6) of the said section 29; and also hereby proclaims that
the road firstly described in the Second Schedule hereto shall,
when so closed, vest in Pyne Gould Guinness Limited, a duly
incorporated company having its registered office in Christ-
church, Eva Mary Earl, of Hawarden, a widow, and Malcolm
McFarlane Earl, of Hawarden, farmer, as executors, subject
to mortgages No. 162071 and 836799, Canterbury Land
Registry; and hereby declares that the land described in the
Third Schedule hereto shall, when so taken, vest in the
Hurunui County Council; and further declares that the road
secondly described in the Second Schedule hereto shall, when
so closed, be dealt with as Crown land under the Land
Act 1948.
