Reservation of Land and Vesting in the New Zealand Fire Service Commission

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for local purpose (site for fire station), and further, pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, vests the said reserve in the New Zealand Fire Service Commission in trust for that purpose.

Revocation of Reservation Over a Reserve and Specifying the Manner of Disposal

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for local purpose (road) over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Whakatane District Council by transfer to Her Majesty the Queen as Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Declaring a Right of Way Easement Taken for Railway Purposes at Whangarei

PURSUANT to section 45 of the Government Railways Act 1949 and section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, a right of way easement, as defined in section 90p of the Land Transfer Act 1952, over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, appurtenant to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for railway purposes on and after the 10th day of September 1979.
