The Traffic (Te Awamutu Borough) Notice No. I, 1979
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Te Awamutu Borough) Notice No. 1, 1979.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, dated the 28th day of July 1960†, which relates to roads situated within Waipa County adjacent to Te Awamutu Borough, is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Waipa County) Notice 1968, dated the 18th day of November 1968‡, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Waipa County adjacent to Te Awamutu Borough, is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Te Awamutu Borough) Notice No. 1, 1972, dated the 11th day of July 1972§, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Te Awamutu Borough and Waipa County adjacent thereto, is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Waipa County) Notice No. 1, 1976, dated the 28th day of January 1976||, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Waipa County adjacent to Te Awamutu Borough, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Te Awamutu Borough:
No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth): from the northern boundary of Te Awamutu Borough to a point 40 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Christie Avenue.
Cambridge Road: from the eastern boundary of Te Awamutu Borough to a point 750 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from Piquet Hill Road.
Te Rahu Road: from the north-eastern boundary of Te Awamutu Borough to a point 80 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from Piquet Hill Road.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Te Awamutu Borough and Waipa County adjacent thereto:
No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth): from a point 40 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Christie Avenue to the northern boundary of Te Awamutu Borough.
Cambridge Road: from a point 750 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from Piquet Hill Road to a point 395 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from Piquet Hill Road.
Park Road: from the south-eastern boundary of Te Awamutu Borough to a point 480 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said road from the said boundary.
Te Awamutu-Pirongia Road: from the western boundary of Te Awamutu Borough to a point 480 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from the said boundary.
THIRD SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Te Awamutu Borough and Waipa County adjacent thereto:
Te Rahu Road: from a point 80 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from Piquet Hill Road to a point 200 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from the north-eastern boundary of Te Awamutu Borough.

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Thames-Coromandel District) Notice No. 1, 1979.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Thames-Coromandel District) Notice No. 1, 1976, dated the 29th day of March 1976†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Thames-Coromandel District, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Thames-Coromandel District at Te Mata:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel): from a point 320 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway, from Te Mata River Bridge to a point 1320 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway from the said bridge.
AT TAPU:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel): from a point 45 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from the Tapu-Coroglen Road to a point 720 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway from the Tapu-Coroglen Road.
Tapu-Coroglen Road: from No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel) to a point 45 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from the said State highway.
AT TE PURU:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel): from a point 800 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from the northern end of the Te Puru Stream bridge to a point 800 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway from the said end of the said bridge.
AT THORNTONS BAY AND NGARIMU BAY:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel): from Lockhart Place to a point 480 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from Adams Road.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Thames-Coromandel District at Waiomu Bay:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel): from a point 480 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway from Waiomu Road to a point 640 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from the said road.
